PHVC celebrates 35th Birthday at ISBA Conference 2025

PHVC celebrates birthday as headline partner at the ISBA Conference 2025

Every year, the independent education sector comes together for the ISBA Annual Conference – a highly anticipated event that brings together over 500 bursars and senior management staff from independent schools across the UK.

The conference is much more than just a networking opportunity, it’s where industry-leading experts share the latest insights and where professional advisors and companies exhibit their services dedicated to supporting schools.

This year, PHVC were extremely proud to celebrate our 35th anniversary at the event as a headline sponsor. We’ve been an integral partner to ISBA and its member schools for over three decades, providing bespoke transport solutions tailored to the unique needs of independent schools across the UK and it was fantastic to be part of the event once again.

PHVC’s relationship with ISBA and its member schools

As a dedicated partner to ISBA and its member schools we’ve built long lasting relationships and a reputation for delivering reliable, safe and sustainable transport that meets the needs of any school’s operations. Working with us, schools can enjoy efficient, comfortable travel for staff and students.

Our tailored services, strong partnerships, and proactive attitude is central to our success. Celebrating our 35th anniversary at the ISBA was an incredible milestone that highlighted our journey of dedication to quality, innovation and a personalised approach that has driven success over three decades.

Celebrating 35 years

Celebrating 35 years of service in style at the conference, we celebrated with delegates with cake and bubbles and treated delegates to giveaways across the event. They also had the chance to enter a competition to win a luxurious Fortnum & Mason hamper!

PHVC’s legacy in transport for the education sector

At PHVC, we have long-standing partnerships with major manufacturers like Ford, Vauxhall, and Iveco which enables us to supply reliable, 9-23 seat minibuses to schools and colleges across the country. We’re committed to being more than just a supplier, and our customers are at the centre of everything we do. Taking a tailored approach, we provide customisable seating arrangements, vehicle liveries, accessibility features and in-house maintenance services, ensuring all our customers receive vehicles that fit their specific requirements.

We don’t stop there either. We have a strong commitment to sustainability and have been leading the shift to greener transport solutions, being directly involved in the design of the new fully electric 15-seat Ford eTransit minibus.

Looking ahead, we want to continue to build on our personalised approach which is part of our reason for transitioning to a staff trust ownership model. This transition reflects our belief in the strength of our team and our commitment to tailored service. This approach demonstrates that the team at PHVC are genuinely invested in the success of our clients who will remain at the heart of our operations.

Another major step forward for us was the decision to bring vehicle maintenance in-house. This move minimises downtime for schools by allowing quicker repairs without waiting on external garages or funders. This proactive, customer-focused approach ensures a seamless journey for our customers, from the initial enquiry to post-sales support, emphasising our dedication to building lasting relationships through personalised care.

A partnership built on trust and service

As you can see, our relationship with ISBA and its member schools runs deep and has been a significant part of our success, with some schools even working with us from the very beginning! We can’t wait for the next 35 years!
