Electric Minibus
Drivable on a standard B licence*
The EV16 sits at the heart of our flexible electric minibus range. Fully electric and designed for organisations that transport people every day, it combines passenger capacity, comfort and practicality with zero tailpipe emissions.
It carries up to 16 occupants including the driver, with a spacious interior and comfortable seating. It can also be driven on a standard B licence, *subject to conditions.

Designed for everyday passenger transport
Inside, the EV16 combines passenger comfort with features designed to make daily driving easier.
A light, open saloon, comfortable hard-back seating and a fully tracked floor create a practical passenger space. Drivers benefit from a 12-inch SYNC 4 touchscreen with navigation, front and rear parking sensors and a rear-view camera.
Safety features include Pre-Collision Assist with Intelligent Emergency Brake Assist, Lane-Keeping System and cruise control with an adjustable speed limiter. Rear passenger USB ports are included, while rear air conditioning can also be specified.
The EV16 is backed by a three-year or 100,000-mile manufacturer warranty, whichever comes first, covering both the base vehicle and conversion elements.

How far can the EV16 travel on one charge?
The EV16 has a maximum range of up to 196 miles WLTP with the optional enhanced 89 kWh battery, measured pre-conversion. Motorway range is listed as up to 166 miles. Actual range will depend on factors including temperature, route, driving style and vehicle use.
How long does the EV16 take to charge?
Using a commercial charger, a full charge takes around 8 to 12 hours. A 115 kW DC fast charger can take the battery from 10% to around 80% in approximately 37 minutes.
Can I lease an electric minibus?
Yes. PHVC offers flexible electric minibus leasing options, allowing organisations to spread the cost rather than purchasing a vehicle outright.
What charging infrastructure will I need?
Many organisations choose a dedicated EV charger at the site where their vehicle is kept. The right setup will depend on your available power supply, vehicle use and required charging speed. PHVC does not install charging infrastructure, so this would need to be arranged separately.
Are grants available for electric minibuses?
Funding schemes and eligibility criteria can change, so it is worth checking current government, regional and local funding options when planning an electric vehicle purchase or lease.
