The PHVC team recently had the privilege of taking part in a charity golf day hosted by Meon Valley Hotel, Golf & Country Club. Set in beautiful countryside, Meon Valley Hotel, Golf and Country Club is Hampshire’s only European PGA Tour destination and provides a world-class golf experience.
The day was filled with great weather and friendly competition, and was all in support of three truly inspiring cancer charities:
- The Brain Tumour Charity
- Breast Cancer Now
- Fight Bladder Cancer
The event brought teams across the region together to enjoy a great day of golf all while raising vital funds and awareness of these three important causes.

Representing PHVC out on the course was Wayne Toms, Joe Clifford, Paul Spooner and Derek Lowis, all who thoroughly enjoyed the day and the opportunity to play alongside all the other teams!
We were also delighted to support the event further by sponsoring the first tee.
Golf for a great cause
From start to finish, the entire event and atmosphere of the day was fantastic, and it was clear just how much effort had gone into making the day an all-out success. Most importantly, the event helped shine a spotlight on the incredible work being done by the three charities and the essential support they provide to individuals and families dealing with cancer.
